Services / In-ground downspout piping

Get water away from your foundation for good

We trench, grade, and install buried downspout extensions that carry runoff underground to a safe daylight or pop-up emitter — no more washouts, drowned landscaping or flooded basements. Serving the greater Pittsburgh area.

Finished roof with new gutters and downspouts ready to tie into buried drainage

What we install and fix

Downspouts that dump at the foundation are the number one cause of wet basements and washouts. We bury the runoff, grade it away from the house, and send it underground to a pop-up emitter or daylight exit — so the water leaves your property instead of pooling against it.

  • Buried downspout extensions
  • Trenching and grading to daylight
  • Pop-up emitters and catch basins
  • Foundation drainage tie-ins
  • French drain and surface drainage
  • Sleeved, freeze-resistant pipe runs

How it works

The drainage process

01

Grade & site assessment

We read the slope, find where water pools, and map the shortest safe path to carry runoff away from your foundation and out to daylight.

02

Trench & layout

We trench to the right depth and fall, hand-clear around utilities, and lay out the run from each downspout to its emitter or daylight exit.

03

Pipe & connection

We install sleeved, freeze-resistant pipe, tie in catch basins and pop-up emitters, and connect every downspout so nothing dumps at the wall.

04

Backfill & test

We backfill, compact, restore the grade, and run water through the system end-to-end so you can see it flow clear before we leave.

What drainage customers say

Every hard rain pooled at our foundation and crept into the basement. They trenched two lines to a pop-up emitter in the yard and we have not seen a drop since. Worth every penny.

Gary Wertheimer

Castle Shannon

Buried our four downspouts to a daylight exit on the side hill. Graded right, no washouts in the mulch, and the landscaping actually looks better now that the runoff is gone.

Patty Novak

Green Tree

They diagnosed the wet basement as a downspout problem, not a foundation problem. Saved me from a $12k waterproofing quote another company gave. Water now leaves the property entirely.
